PROCLAMATION.
Br Thomas Bannatyne Gillies, Esq., Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.
“ By virtue of the powers delegated to me by Ilis Excellency the Governor in Council, under his hand and the Public Seal of the Colony, I do hereby proclaim and declare that the following lands within the boundaries of the llauraki Goldmining District shall be exempt from occupation for mining purposes, or for machine sites, or for business or residence sites, namely, all lands excepted from goldmining in the agreements with the native owners thereof, bearing tho respective dates of 23rcl June, 1802; 11th October, 1801 ; Oth November, 1807 ; Otli March, 1808 ; 13th May, 1808; and 15th October 1808; and also all lands within the several Districts affected by the above mentioned agreements which at the respective dates of the said agreements were therefore granted by the Crown.
