A meeting of the Regatta Committee was held on Tuesday evening, at the Thames Hotel, Captain Casey in the chair. It was stated that the p.s. Ist prize, £lO ; 2nd, £5 ; 3rd, £3. —sth race, sailing boats or yachts, fixed keels only, over 5 tons, and under 10 tons. Ist prize, silver cup, presented by Chairman of Harbour Board, and £ls added ; 2nd, £5 ; 3rd, £3.—Gth race : Champion Scullers’ Match, rowed in opens skiffs, not exceeding 21 feet over-all, to be rowed on the gunwale. Ist prize, £8. —7th race : Licensed watermen’s boats, manned by two licensed watermen ; oars and sails allowed, usual working sails only. Ist prize, £0 ; 2nd, £4 ; 3rd, £2. —Bth race : Four-oared gigs, the property of any recognised club, rowed by amateur members ; no housing or outriggers allowed. Ist prize, £lO ; 2nd, £5. —9th race: Ships’ gigs, merchant ; rowed by bona fide ships’ crews. Ist prize, £8 ; 2nd, £4. —10th race : Four-oared gigs, open to all ; no housing or outriggers allowed.
