THAMES CRICKET CLUB.

A MEETING of the Committee of the T.C.C. was held last night at the Exchange Hotel, to consider the position of the Club. From the Secretary’s repo.t, it appears that the Club is at present £7 Ills 4d in debt, all the funds having been expended. It was resolved on the motion of Air Sandes, seconded by Air Gollion, “ That the members be requested to subscribe monies sufficient to liquidate the present debt, and that no more expenses be incurred during the present season.” Mr Beeue, the lion, secretary, tendered his resignation ; but it was resolved to postpone the acceptance of it until a general meeting of the Club was held, as the committee had no power to appoint anyone in his place.
