HOSPITAL COMMITTEE MEETING.
A special meeting of the Hosrfital Committee was held yesterday afternoon, at Beller’s Hotel, Mary-street, for the purpose of receiving tenders f or hospital supplies for six months, iqomnicncing on the first of January next. Present—Mr John Goodall, vice-president, in the chair, and Messrs Renshaw (treasurer), H. Coolahan, Rev J. Buller, P. Griffin, Rev Father Nivard, and H. Mellhone. The following tenders were accepted : For groceries, J. AY. Shaw ; meat, AV. Bobbett ; bread, P. Warren ; milk, Jas. McConnell ; washing, Mrs Hardman; li re wood, \\ . Marsh. For funerals, G*. Devey. The Chairman said that Mrs Goodall' and other ladies had met with great success in their canvas for subscriptionsfor a Christinas dinner to the patients, and, theie can be no doubt that a. good enter—" tainmeut will be provided,.
