BATY RELIEF FUND.

A meeting of the committee of the above fund was held at the Pacific Hotel, last evening, Mr West in the chair. Mr Pulleine said lie could not read the minutes of the previous meetings, as lie had lent tlie book to the Advertiser, and had not been able to get it since. £7lB 0s lOd was the total amount of money received ; and the expenses, £l2 8s Gd. On the motion of Mr Carey, it was resolved to give tlie widow £IOO now, and invest the balance in bank shares, the interest of which should go towards the education of the children, &c. ; and the following gentlemen were appointed to the fund trustees : —Rev. V. Lush, Joseph Banke, Esq., and Mr Robert Baty, brother to the deceased.
