CALEDONIAN GAMES.

A meeting of the committee was held last night at the Wharf Hotel, Mr. Wm. Rowe in the chair, at which 17 members were present. The working committee reported what they had done towards making the arrangements for the 30th, and their report was received and actions confirmed. The funds were found to be in a very satisfactory state, and the amounts of the various prizes were fixed, in the whole amounting to £ll6 in money, besides three silver cups, and a prize which is to be presented by Mr. E. Hornsby on behalf of Messrs. T. and S. Morrin. The prizes will bo found in our advertising column. Mr. Hornsby has not yet decided what his prize is to be given for, but it will be published to-mor-row. Mr. W. Robinso >, Captain Skene, and Mr. S. Young, were appointed handicappers for the foot races. Messrs Brodie, Briton, and Robertson, were elected judges for the various dances. Messrs Bionic, Stewart, and Bandmaster Morris, judges of the bagpipe competition. Mr E. Thomas was to act as judge of the wrestling, in conjunction with others to be appointed ; and Mr. Goodall, Captain Fraser, and Mr Stewart, are to detciminc who is the best dressed Highlander.
