AMUSEMENTS.

Academy of Music. —-There was a large attendance last evening at this popular place of amusement. The “ Lancashire Lass” was reproduced, and went off admirably. As the stay amongst us of the present talented company is now drawing to a close, we advise those who have not already visited the Academy of Music not to lose the opportunity of seeing these talented artistes before they have left us.’ Theatre Royal’ —There was a rather meagre attendance at this theatre last evening. The “Cornish Lass” was produced, and was gone through in a very creditable manner. As we have said on previous occasions, the entertainment provided at the Theatre Royal is deserving of better houses, and we should be glad to see an alteration in this respect, for, with one or two exceptions, the audiences have been very small for some time past.
