AUCKLAND POLICE COURT.

Saturday, October 14. (Before Tbos. Beckham, Esa., R.M.) Perjury.—George Spray, apprehended on a warrant, issued on the information of John Crosbie, charging h ; m with having committed wilful and corrupt perjury in his evidence at this Court, before the Resident Magistrate, in the late case of alleged perjury against the present prosecutor. Mr Hesketh appeared for the prosecution ;Mr Rees for the defence. It being imposs'lde lo go into the cas,e today, after some discussion between counsel it was agreed to remand the case until Thursday next, the accused being admitted to bail, himoelf in £2OO, and two sureties of £IOO each.
