A leading party in connection with the well known Hazelbank case was proceeding to Sydney by the steamer with his wife, but was arrested one hour before the vessel sailed by an order of the Supreme Court. The following are the latest quotations in the sharemarket: —Caledonians. Ll'2o; Thames, L 24 ; Nonpareils, L 5 15s ; Multum in Parvo, 12s 6d. There is no demand for the leading stocks.
