ARRIVED. Hero, s.s., Captain Logan, from Sydney (4th instant). Passengers—From Melbourne : Mr and Mrs R. Whitson, Mr Clcghorn, Mrs J. Murray, Mrs Sketch, Mrs Wilson and infant. Miss M. D. Williams, Miss Richardson, Messrs Clements, Lyons, Hales, S. Young, and 17 in the steerage. From Bydley: Mrs R. Ceal, Mrs Nugent, Miss Hutchison, Miss Reed, and Misses Burns (2), Mis* Whiner, Miss J. Reid, Captaiu Howell, and 11 in the steerage. Mr Cogswell, purser. —Cruickshank, Smart, k Co., agents. The Hero left Sydney on the 4th instant, and roanded the North Cape at a quarter to six on the 10th. Experienced strong castcily gales to the Three Kings, thence heavy weather down the coast.
