Mrs. Darrell (Mrs. Robert Heir) takes the leading characters. MELBOURNE. October 3, 8.10 p.m. Tho ecclesiastical trial of the Rev. Mr. Wollaston has commenced. Dr. Tucker gave evidence, and the case is adjourned till to-morrow. Tho Conference revised their former resolution on the Border Customs to-day, and finally discussed the subject. A carrier, named Unben, has been committed for trial for perjury, alleged to have been committed in the case of Mr. Frank Stephen, solicitor, of Geelong. The inquest is to be held to-morrow. H.M.S. ‘ Blanche ’ has sailed for Sydney.
