London, Nov. 21. The employers in Ireland, Scotland, and the north of England, have federated to resist the strikers. Melbourne, Nov. 22. In the Assembly, the Factories and Workshops Bill was passed. Clauses were inserted providing that the boards shall fix the hours of labour in each trade, and compelling employers to provide suitable sitting accommodation in shops for employees.
