Melbourne, Nov. 19. The weather is perfect to-day for the cricket match. Victoria continued their first innings, which closed for 307, leaving them 109 behind the Englishiqen in their first essay. Harry made 70. In their second innings the English cricketers have lost four wickets for 191 runs. Nov. 20. The second innings of the English team closed for 288 runs. Stoddart made 78, Feel 56, and Briggs 43. The Victorian team requiring 398 runs to avert a defeat began their second innings this afternoon, and when the stumps were drawn for the day had lost six wickets for 160. H. Trott made 63. The following will represent the United in their match with Temuka at Temuka to-day : Boys (2), Gray, Macintosh, Stoddart, King, Price, S. Anderson, Cobden, Rapsey, and Tremaine; emergencies—W. Ellis, Murdoch, Fraser, and Cowie.
