London, Aug. 14. , In the House of Lords Earl Spencer hinted that the Chamber should remodel; the Evicted Tenants Bill. Baron Balfour moved its rejection, and > was supported by the Marquises of; Londonderry, and Lausdowne, and the Duke of Argyle. Lord Tweedmouth, on behalf of lho ! Government, declared that if the Lords rejected the measure they would rue the day. The debate was rdjourned. i In the House of Commons this eveu-l ing the Bill for the equalisation of the municipal rates of London was read ai third time. ■
