Won by six lengths from Bmabadior ; Amalgam iv dozen lengths away third; Bello a moderate fourth; Despised and Nanakia
were the only others to finish. Clark’ stirrup leather gave way at the first jump and he carried it and the iron in his mouth for the rest of the journey. His peformance was loudly cheered on returning to scale. Time, Bmin OJsec; dividends, £2 5s 6d and £2 7b 6d.
