London, May 3. The dock labourers are resuming their agitation, and serious trouble threatens. Washington, May 5. The Coxeyite baud at Tacoma have seized a train. One hundred marshals followed and eventually recaptured it. The wives of the strikers at Scottvale tried to intimidate the firemen. The police were called out and fired in the air. The Premier was too busy, and the Minister of Labor referred the deputation to Mr Tregar, who happened to be away. The men said they must have work. They intend to wait on the Minsters again on Monday, The Mayor of Christchurch has opened a subscription list to raise funds to provide work for the unemployed during the winter.
