RANGITATA LICENSING DISTRICT. IN pursuance of the “ The Alcoholic Liquors Sale Control Act, 1893,” I, John MoKbague, Returning 1 Officer for the Rangitata Licensing District, do hereby give notice that on the Twenty-first day of March, 1894, the Poll of Electors as to Renewals of Licenses, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Act, will be taken at the various Polling Places of the District. In pursuance of “ The Electoral Act, 1893,” “The Licensing Acts,” and “The Alcoholic Liquors Sale Control Act, 1893,” I further give notice that an ELECTION will be held for the return of EIGHT qualified persons to serve as members of the Licensing Committee for the Rangitata Licensing District. The last day for receiving Nominations of Candidates will be the 13th day of March, 1894, and the Poll, if necessary, will be taken at the several Polling Places of the said District on the 21st day of March, 1894. Every man desirous of becoming a Candidate must be nominated by not less than two electors of the said district by a Nomination Paper, as prescribed by section seventy-five of “ The Electoral Act, 1893,” delivered to the Returning Officer on or before the 13th day of March, 1894.
