WOODBURY.

DOMAIN BOARD. The annual meeting of this board was held on Tuesday, February 20th, at 7.30 o'clock. Present Messrs Flatman (charman), Morrison, and Thatcher. After passing the minutes of the previous meeting, Mr Flatman vacated the chair, prior to the election of a chairman for the ensuing year. On the motion of Mr Thatcher, Mr Flatman was at once re-elected, and, on resuming his seat, thanked the members for the.renewal of their confidence, and for the support and courtesy he had constantly received from them, as well as for the care and attention they had shown in the disposal of such business as had been submitted to them. The chairman reported that the accounts for the year 1893 had been duly audited and were now open for members' inspection. The balance-sheet was then laid on the table. The charman proposed—" That the balance sheet be published once in the Gbraidinb Guabdian." Seconded by Mr Morrison and carried. A letter was read from Mr Hammond, offering to renew lease of paddock at a reduced rental.—lt was resolved to call for public tenders on the same conditions as present lease. The secretary reported having received £5 5s as rent and 4s for grass seed. An account of £2 was passed for paymeut, and the board rose.

CEMETERY BOARD. A meeting of this board was held on Tuesday evening, 20th. Present—Messrs Flatman (chairman), Morrision, and Thatcher. ' Tho chairman reported that delivery had been taken of the grass seed cut from the cemetery amounning to 6691b5. Mr Thatcher, after referring to the plan, was o-opinion it would be judicious on the pirtof the board to form the pathway from the gate to the centre of the cemetery and therefore moved—" That the track leading through the cemetery from the entrance to the centre circle be formed by ploughing, harrowing, and sowing with grass, provided the funds be sufficient for the purpose, and that Mr Shiers, of Geraldine, be asked to draw up specifications for the work." This was seconded by Mr Morrison and carried. It was further decided to advertise the work on the Tuesday before the last Friin March. The chairman was authorsed to sell the cocksfoot seed. The secretary reported receipt of less amounting to £3 15s, and payment of 2s for mowing grass. Accounts amounting in all to *,6 los oa were passed, and the board rose.
