TIMARU MARKETS. The Canterbury Farmers’ Association, Limited, report as follows for the week ending Friday, November 17th, 1893 ; Wheat.—During the holidays very little business in produce has been doing, and with the depressed state in Loudon holders having fairly largo stocks, the market is very disappointing. Local requirements are small—just sufficient to supply orders. Clean whole fowl’s wheat, winch is in great demand, we are placing at 2s 3£d per bushel, seconds also obtain a moderate demand up to 2s 2d. Oats —A considerable amount of business is being done for local wants in Danish oats, and the continued enquiry elicits that stocks are very low. Quotations are as follow;—Milling, 2s 1 d to 2s 2£d; short feed, 2s to 2s Id ; Danish, 2a 2jd, f.o.b.
