London, Oct. 20. Men on strike at St. Helens dynamited the colliery foreman's house. Sydney, Sept. 21. A new arrangement has been entered into between owners and engineers for 18 months, with three months' notice. The engineers agree to a 10 per cent, reduction, and forego extra remuneration for foreign porta. The owners agree that any steamer over 200 horse power going to foreign portß shall carry a fourth engineer.
