AUCTIONEERS' REPORT. The Canterbury Farmers' Co-operative Association, Limited (per Mr J. Mundell, auctioneer), report on the horse market at Tattersall's on Saturday as follows : Our entry comprised 38 head. The demand for young sound plough horses continues good. We sold three parts of our entry at the following quotations : Draughts, young and sound (with trial), £l9 10s, £2l to £23 ; do, light and aged, £8 15s to £11; light harness sorts, £ll 10s to £l3 10s ; hackneys, no sale to re - port. Stallions —We submitted after the parade, on account of Mr Rothwell, Landsman, by Bordermau— Bijou, passed at 75 guineas ; on account of Mr H. Devme, Dan Guy by Guy Faux—Beeswing, passed at 53 guiueas; on account of Mr Robert Davie, the trotting entire colt, I£ o -duras, by Berlin Fanny Allan. This horse was k °enly competed for up to 125 guineas, at P™° he waa pawed m. On account of Mr ??. Whaelband, the Clydesdale stallion Young alen / 0 ™» by Taieri Tom—Dot IL, passed a, uy guineas. Messrs Guinness and Le Cren, in addition to holding their usual Saturday sale of all classes of horses submitted several stud horses at auction. The thoroughbred Derwenter sold at 21 guineas,, and the trotter Ali Baba at 17 guiueas.
