HAWAII.
Washington, Feb. 22. Kailuani, neice of the Queen of Hawaii, has appealed to the American people protesting against being deprived of the right of succession to the crown. The Queen of Hawaii has appealed to Mr Cleveland to prevent the annexation of the islands by the United States. Feb. 23. Mr J. L. Stevens, United States Minister in Hawaii, in a despatch to his Government, declares that the Pincess Kailuani is wholly under British influence. Tho Hawaiian Commissioners to the President are returning to the Island. The residents of Hawaii report that England and Germany have been planning for years to possess the islands, and .their. Consulates have armed the natives and incited thorn to oppose the Americans.
