London, January 8. The imports for the last quarter show a decrease of £5,380,000, and the exports a decrease of £530,000. In the imports for the year there is a decrease in value of £11,800,000, and in exports of £20,170,000. Jan. 9. Tallow quotations —Mutton, medium quality, 27s 8d ; beef, 265. For Australian wheat cargoes of early shipment sellers ask 325; buyers offer 31s. River Plate mutton is being sold in large quantities in Liverpool at 3Jd per lb. Melbourne, Jan. 10.
The Government will probably grant a bonus to exporters of cheese next season.
