A QUERY.
TO THE EDITOR. Sik, —Can you inform me what has become of Sir Cori O’Lanns 1 He has not been heard of for a long time. I think he is very much wanted now to discuss the shingle-shifting question. No other man could handle the subject with equal ability, and if he is in the laud of the living I think you ought to secure his great talents once more on your valuable paper. —I am: etc., A Shiole Shout. [Sir Cori O’Lanus left here in company with Mr Badham. He said he could not live without him. We have not heard of him for a long time, but we believe he quarrelled with Mr Badham and went on a visit to the Czar of Russia. We have cabled to the Czar requesting to be informed of his whereabouts, and doubtless we shall get a reply in due course. —Ed.]
