Adelaide, May 18. Lord Glasgow arrived here to-day, and was received by Lord Kintore, Governor of South Australia. Lord Glasgow was received with a saints of nineteen guns from the gunboat Protector. Bluejackets formed the guard of honor on his arrival at Large’s jetty, and he was taken in a State carriage to a special train at the city station, where a detachment of the permanent artilley formed the guard of honour. He remains in Adelaide till Friday. A tremendous crowd of people were present at his reception. May l‘->, Lord Glasgow - ; in the course of an interview, said it was evident on all sides that the Bozen mutton trade was increasing fast, and the outlook for New Zealand was most favorable.
