DUNEDIN WOOL SALES. Dunedin, Feb. 26. The fourth wool sale of the season was held to-day. The attendance of buyers was moderate, the catalogue rather small, and the quality scarcely up to former lots. The prices realised were within a Jd of those ruling at the last sale for similar quality. Greasy crossbred realised 5d to 9d, and greasy merino 4fd to 7d. AUSTRALIAN MARKETS. Sydney, Feb. 26. The Sydney Deposit Bank, which recently suspended payment, has been declared bankrupt. The annual report of the Mutual Life Association shows the new business for the year amounted to £533,000, and that the total yearly revenue was oyer £200,000. The surplus available for division among policy holders is £42,000, providing reversionary bonuses aggregating £95,000. ENGLISH AND FOREIGN MARKETS. London, Feb, 20. The directors of the London Chartered Bank ascribe the decline in colonial stocks to the market being flooded with securities offered by executors in consequence of the numerous deaths which have occurred this winter. ’ Feb. 26.
