CALEDONIAN SPORTS.
. TO THE EDITOR. Sir, — Being present at the Caledonian Sports on Boxing Day, I must confess that they reflected'the highest credit on all concerned. X also attended the concert, and all I say is the singers deserved a better place to sing in than that great bain. Put your shoulders to the wheel, and try before another year to get it lined. Cannot Captain Cutten do something ? I also learned that some of your business men got up an opposition dance, and, after engaging the Hall and making all arrangements, because someone accused them of this they rushed off anddenied it in your journal. Now, sir, if you will allow me to be judge and jury, my verdict will be 10 years to the west of Siberia for one, as I am afraid General Booth has made a mess of him . The other two I will leave to the verdict which the public has already given.—l am, etc., 'Truth. Geraldine, 28th December, 1891.
