RIFLE MATCH.
A Rifle Match between teams representing the Temuka Rifles and Timaru Navals took place on the Temuka rifle range on Thursday afternoon, resulting in a win for Temuka by 51 points. A strong wind blowing across the range militated against high scores. The conditions of the match were, ranges 200, 300 and 500 yards; 5 shots at each, one sighter at each range (optional in score), Wimbledon * targets and scoring. The following are the scores ;
