PORT OF TIMARU. ARRIVED. Oct. 6 Brunner, s.s., 340 tons, Waller, from the north. SAILED. Oct. 6 Brunner, a.a., 340 tons, Waller, for the south. IMPORTS. In the Brunner, N.M. and A. Co., agents : 500 casks cement and sundries. Among the consignees were Owers, Brown, Phillips, Anderson. Wellington, Sept. 5. The Mariposa, with the English mails of September sth, left San Francisco on September 18th, a day late. The Monowai arrived at San Francisco on October Ist. Sydney, Oct. 5. Arrived Jubilee, from Wellington. She reports speaking the George Manson, bound from Newcastle to San Francisco, in distress, on Saturday. The captain was ill, and the main and mizzentopmasts Were carried away. The Jubilee was unable to take her in tow in consequence of the absence of suitable appliances. The vessel, however, is in no immediate danger.
