London, Oct. 6. The sailors, firemen, and carters at the Carron and Hermitage wharves have gone out on strike. The amalgamated watermen and lighterman have decided to block the wharves. The carpenters’ strike continues, and money is being levied in France, Germany, the United States, Canada and Australia for their support. , The Shipping Federation and other carrying Unions are considering proposals to federate with similar associations in Australia and America. Ail: International Conference will probably be convened at Chicago to arrange the terms. Oct. 6. ; The sailors and firemen have joined the strike. The 1 Carron and Hermitage wharves are in a state of siege, and rioting is rife. Adelaide, Oct. 6. The Moonla strikers decline arbitration at present. ' '
