HORSE PARADE.

The annnual Geraldiue Parade of entire horses took place on Tuesday morning last injthe Geraldine Park, when a good many farmers and admirers of good horse flesh, were present. The parade was a very good one and considerable interest was taken in it. The number of horses on parade was much less than, last season, but all that put in an appearance showed as good quality as on other occasions. The numbers on parade were : 5 Clydesdales, 2 thorough-bred 3,2 coaching stallions, and one American trotter. The following is a description of the horses.— CLYDESDALES. The imported horse Blackwatoh, the property of Mr James Austin, of Winchester, although suffering from the effects of a long sea voyage and being considerably out of condition, had'many admirers, Young Taieri Tom, owned by Mr W. Wheelband, was shown in the pink of condition. He has capital action and should get useful farming stock. Young Knockdown was also in fine con dition, and Mr* A. Toomey's Young Banker made a splendid appearance. He is » promising son of that famous sire The Banker. Glenmore, another Young Banker, three years old, is a compact powerfully built horse with splendid action and should be a great favorite with farmers. M? A, Mackenzie is the owner. THOKOTJGHBBBDS. Mr M. Connolly's Hanlan was as usual in the best condition, and still appears to be a general favorite in the district. The favorite thoroughbred stallion Hunnington, belonging to Mr H. Scotb was in grand form and was admired by all. He will, no doubt, be largely used throughout the district. The Arbiter, son of Nancy by Betrayer, half-brother to Hunnington, was also in good show CQudition* Fleetwood Abadalla, by Blackwatch, Ahadalla, as a youngster had numerous admirers. Island Laddie was shown to good advantage. On the whole the bliow was very successful, and all present seemed satisfied with it.
