The Times says ha extracted a knife from an ordinary brandy bottle, made balls appear and disappear like lightning, drove his hands tied together right through the body ef a boy from the audience, made a mango tree grow from one to two feet high in; three minutes, swallowed 75 yards of woollen - yarn, a glass ball, and some coppers, and performed a great variety of other astonishing tricks with extraordinary dexterity.
