GERALDINE RIFLES.

The annual general meeting of the members of this corps was held on Thursday evening after the parade. Captain R H Pearpomt occupied the chair. BALANCE-SHEET. The secretary, Mr T. Sherratt, read the balance-sheet for the past year as follows “ General Account: Receipts, £36 15s 8d; expenditure, £22 7s 6d; balance to credit, £l4 8s Bd. Capitation Account; Receipts, £72 8s 8d ; expenditure, £64 2s; balance to credit, £7 16s Bd.” The balance-sheet as read was unanimously adopted. ELECTION 03? COMMIT TEES. The election of committees for the ensuing year resulted as follows: — Finance—Sergeants Stonehouse and Brown, and Privates Legan and Guy. , Match Col -Sergeant Stonehouse, Sergeants Brown and Stonehouse, and Privates Guy, Turner, and Colbert. Social—Col .-Sergeant Stonehouse, Sergeant Stonehouse,and Privates Erskine, Turner, Colbert, and Kruse. Mr T Sherratt was re-elected secretary, and was granted an honorarium of one guinea. MISCELLANEOUS It was decided to hold social gatherings during the winter months, and devote the proceeds to the prize fund. The question of shifting the butts was mooted, and it was finally decided to leave the matter in the bands of the finance committee. TOTES OF THANKS. A unanimous vote of thanks was accorded to the officers for the manner in which they bad conducted the affairs of the corps during the past year. The meeting then terminated.
