London, April 12. The quantity of wool catalogued up to? date 109,000 bales, of which 101,000 have [been sold. The market for wool is firm, and American houses are buying freely of choice greasy sorts. Tallow—Medium innttbn, 26s ; beef, 24s 6d. ‘ The English wheat market shows a strong tone, but prices are unchanged. The continental market is advancing ; with increased firmness. American is also firm. ~ -
