Auckland, April 6. A member of the Pukekohe Mcanted Infantry, Wm. H. Johns, who was thrown from his horse when returning from the military sports about a week ago, died from the effects of the injuries he received. The dead body of a man, not identifled, has been found at Mongonui beach, near the head of Doubtless Bay. April 7. *
