WAIUI V. UNION. The] following is the Waibi team picked to play against the Union Football Glib, of Timaru, on the Winchester ground, to-morrow ; Brinkman, J Austin, A Shallard, A Stewart, I) Stewart, D Lewis, M McLeod, £1 F Harte, A Bell, South, Hart’s (2), Shallard, Blisset, and W Austin. Play will start at half-past three. GERaLDtNE FOOTBALL CLUB. A general meeting of the members of this club was held at the Crown Hotel, Geraldine, on Tuesday evening. Mr E H Fearpoint, president, occupied the chair, and there were about eighteen members present. The meeting was call ed for the purpose of filling the vacancy caused by the removal of Mr A J? Thomson to Christchurch. General regret was expressed at the loss thp club had sustained by My Thomson’s departure. Mr HJi MortoiT was unanimously elected captain, and a member of the selection committee. It was decided to ask Mr J P Kalaugher to act as the club’s delegate to the South Canterbury llugby Union.
