DUNEDIN ANNIVERSARY V MEETING, ' Dunedin, March 23, The weather to-day was an improvement on Saturday for the second day of the Anniversary Meeting, but it was still cold and gusty. Tue attendance was fair. The following are the results of the racing:— Selling Hurdles, 65 sovs ; miles— Mr Rocljfort’s Erebus, 9st, 1. Trapper and Smuggler also started. Smuggler ran round the first hurdle, and Trapper ran round the stand jump, leaving Erebus to canter in. Time, 3min 21eec. Divi deads, £3 and £3 6s 6d. The steward disqualified during pleasure James Cotton and Chapman, the riders of Trapper and Smuggler. Holiday Handicap, 100 boys ; I mile and a distance—Mr Stephenson's Mariner, 7st 121 b, 1 ; Mr Hankie's Leinster, 7st 101 b, 2 ; Mr Brett’s Waylaud, 6st 81b, 3. Won by a clear length. Time, 2min 7sec. Dividend, £2 5s 6d, Two Mile Trot, 60 sovs Messrs Allan Bros.’ J ulian, 12sec, 1; Mr Crossan’a Hanger, 26ijec, 2 ; Mr Craig’s Keilawarra, 12seo, 3. Dividend —£5 2s 6d. Novel Hack, 60 bo vs; I mile—Mr Laughliu’a Vuultrees, 7«t 10b, I; Mr Hale’s Apres Moi, Sat 2ib, 2 ; Air Smith's Old Judge, 7?t sib, S’ Won easily. Time, Imin Dividend, £2 10a 61, Electric Stakes Ha dicap, 60 sovs; 5 furlongs Hou, George McLean’s Dormeur, 7at 10. b, I ; Air Huguenot, Bst 7ib, 2 ; Ale Craig’s LadMl Mab, 7st 2ib, 3. Cinnabar and iTouug, his rider, were disqualified for six months. Consolation Race— Mr Bren’s Wayland, i ; Mr Stephenson’s Tempest, 2 ; Warlock, 3. Time, Imiu 63tec. Dividend—£4 4s 6d. Tue sum of £5514 went through the machines.
