THE CHILIAN REBELLION

Valparaiso, Jan. 20. The rebellion in Chili is spreading. French and American squadrons have been despatched to protect the interests citizens of those countries, A portion of Chilian troops have ioined the rebels, Jan 21. It is hoped that the British squadron will remain neutral, The insurgents are blocking Valparaiso. In Adelaide an inquest has been held on the body of a child named Helen Florence Weller. She was playing with her brother and another little boy, when the boys lighted a match which caught the deceased’s dress. Before the flames could be put out she had received fatal injuries.
