Fredericks had bis finger amputated at the hospital last night. Examination showed that he had been hit by a bullet, and not by a splinter. The officers are at a loss to account accident, unless it was that Fredericks in turning the target had reached his hands above the sides of the trench. This is the first accident that has happened in connection with the association. A subscription list has been started in the camp for the injured man. J Jan. 22.
