Reserves, Christchurch, 90 j and Private Kruse, Wanganui Rifles, 89 each took £4>. G-unner Kelly, A Battery, Auckland, 89; Private Bunting, Wellington Guards, 89; and Gunner McGregor* I Battery, Qamaru, 88, each took £3. Bombadier Webster, A Battery; Private Cameron, Reserves; Private Ballinger, Wellington Guards; Private Wakelyn, Christchurch Reserves, took £2 each with 88.

During the progress of the match a young man named Fredericks, of Dunedin, who was marking in the trenches had his finger lacerated by a bullet splinter.
