GERALDINE FLAT WATER-SUPPLY DISTRIOT.

■VTOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at a Special Meeting of the Council of the County of Geraldine, beld on the 11th day of June, 1890, a resolution to make a Special Order was adopted, and the objects of such Special Order are ■ (1) To fix the Annual Rate, or Charge under Clause 4 of the Waterworks By-law of the County, and ’* The Counties Act, 1886,” to be paid by occupiers of land within “ The Geraldine Water-Supply district,” for use of the water-races und water supplied thereby, at (3d) THREE PENCE PER ANNUM for eaeh Acre of Daod, or poition thereof, held by such occupies in such district. (2) To appoint the annual dates of payment of such rate or charge for the year ending 31st D oember, 1890, to be made on the Ist of August, 1890, and in subsequent - years on the Id, of May in very year. ) (3) To make such rate or charge payable at the Council’s Office, Timaru. (4.) To regulul e the expenditure of such rate or charge. And it is further notified thbt the said Gprcial Cider will come into force on the 20th day of July, lb9o, and that a meeting of the said Council will be hell at Timaru on the 9th day of Juiy next, at 11 o’clock a.m., for the purpose of confii ming such resolution. | A copy of the said Special Order will re-j main deposited for Inspection at the Council’s Office, Timaru, during office hours, until the date of the said meeting.
