HARBOR BOARD BONDS.
London, May 21. A deputation from holders of New Zealand harbor Board bonds waited on . Sir Dillon Bell, Agent-General, to-day, asking him to forward a letter to the New Zealand Government explaining the position in which they had been placed by the continuance of default, Sir P. D. Beil promised to submit their vi- ,ws to the Government, and expressed the hope that the land laws of which complaint was made would be altered, Holders of New Plymouth Harbor Board bonds seek compensation because the Government interfered with the board’s land endowment. Holders of other harbor board debentures and of Government stocks deny the liability of “ Government.
