ANNUAL ELECTION OF SCHOOL COMMITTEES.

HILTON. The annual meeting of householders was held in Ihe schoolroom on Mondiy eyening. Mr R. Skinnpr was voted (o the chair, and read the report and balance-sheet of the retiring committee, which wag adopted by (be meeting, Nominations were reCtMvcd for the new committee, und on u ballot being taken the following were elecied : W. Beattie, O. G. Bradley, J. Keiland, R. Skinner, J. Leary, L. H. Rook, und P. Ryan. A meeting of the committee waa afterwards held, when Mr Skinner was re-elected chairman. The chairman and Mr Beattie were authorised to sign cheques for the coramiltae. It was decided to hold the committee meetings on the last Monday in the moath. The chairman and Mr Beattie were appointed visitors for this month, and the meeting terminated.
