Melbourne, April 11, The epidemic of la grippe is still spreading. Several members of the Ministry have been attacked by the disease, and at Pert Melbourne one case has proved fatal, the victim succumbing after an illness of four days. A plight panic occurred in the city through telephone wires coming in contact with wires used for electric lighting, and thus causing several incipient fires. April 12, A cross action has been commenced in the Supreme Court, Mr Horsfall having issued a writ against Andrew Rowan, claiming £3OOO damages for alleged libel and slander. The case arose out of a dispute with the directors of Goldsbrough, Mort, and Company.
