LABOR REVOLT.
London. April 7. A congress of Labor Electoral Associations, representing 800,000 mombers, is sitting at Hanley. One of the propositions affirmed in the discussion is that labor representatives should be added to Parliament. Mr C. T. Ritchie, President of the Local Government Board, in reply to a memorial from the trades, stated that it is impossible to start relief works for the unemployed. Iwo thousand masters have conceded tho bootmakers demands. Chicago, April 8. Tho carpenters have struck in obedience to the mandate of" the union’s executive.
