RESIGNATION OF PRINCE BISMARCK.
Berlin, March 19. The Emperor William’s acceptance of Dr Windthorst’s proposal to restore the Guelph fund to the Duka of Cumberland was the cause of Prince Bismarck resigning. All the Prussian Ministers resigned simultaneously. Count Waldersee will probably succeed Prince Bismarck as Chancellor of the German Empire, Another statement is that the dispute arose over the question of the appointment of an Inspector of Factories. A council of Generals will meet the Emperor to discuss the political crisis.
