London, March 6. The Liverpool; ;|tnke, is declining, owing to hundreds of substitutes coming forward. The sailors and firemen support the men. but the owners are confident of success.** The miners adhere to their refusal to inspect the masters’books.
The engineers strike on Monday for an hour’s less labor per week. The tailoring trade is disappointed with the report of the Swelling Commission, which declares that it is improper to interfere between capital and labor, except for the purposes-of sanitary regulations. Lord Dunrtven considered that the report, which is couched in drastic terms, will be finally rejected by the Sweating Committee,

'Twenty thousand dock laborers will strike at Liuerpool. The dock owners are importing fresh-hands. Twenty thousand engineers in the north and east of England threaten to strike unless their hours are shortened, An International Labor Conference, with a much wider programme than that summoned by the Emperor William of Germany, will meet in London in July next.
