Sir Vernon Ilarcourt and Sir Chas. Russell, speaking at Bath and Cambridge respectively, claimed that Mr Pameil had been honorably acquitted of all accusations.
The Globe Btrongly urges that subscriptions be raised to recoup the Times the amount of expenses put to in connection wi!h the Special Commission, and states several have already offered sums of £IOO.
