THE CRONIN MURDER.
Chicago, Dec. 17. Coughlin, O’Sullivan, and Burke were found guilty of the murder of Dr Cronin, and sentenced to imprisonment for life. Kurze was sentenced to three years’ imprisonment, and Beggs was acquitted. The jury fixed the sentences themselves, they were four days in arriving at the verdict:. One juror stood out, and compelled the ToSi to compromise. The friends of tlie d j ad man are indignant. The prisoners have applied for a new trial. New York, Dec. 18. ihe American Press declares the verdict in the Cronin case to be an outrageous miscarriage of justice,
