THE LABOR TROUBLES.
London, Nov. 9. The strike committee, in order to show their gratification at the action of the Broken Hill miners not to work with blacklegs, will forward £IOOO to their assistance, and more wi|l be eent if necessary. The masters have agreed to the demands of the, lightermen, who have resumed work. A large meeting in Hyde Park yesterday carried a resolution to.boycott the master bakers for refusing the detrend of the men for a reduction in the hours of labor. Nov. 11, The strike committee have applied £IOOO of the balance in band towards defraying the expenses of current strikes. The .dock companies are changing lighters entering the docks Is 64 per ton, Hitbertb they were, permitted to enter free, and the master lightermen declare that the imposition of this charge will ruin them. Sydney, Nov. 11, The number of miners now on strike owing to the admission of blacklegs has now reached 3000. j
